Nature’s best multivitamin from New Zealand native blooms
Bee Pollen
What Is Bee Pollen?
Bee Pollen, called 'the most perfect food from nature,' comprises flower pollen granules bound by bees with saliva and nectar.
Since it cannot be made chemically and can only be obtained by bees, it is a valuable food that can only be harvested during flowering season. It contains 12 of 16 essential minerals, significant vitamin C, B vitamins, and 5–8 times more amino acids than beef or cheese.
What Are the Health Benefits of Bee Pollen?
Rich in flavonoids and polyphenols, Bee Pollen supports vascular health by preventing clots and promoting circulation, strengthens immunity, combats aging and free-radical damage. Its terpenes and polyphenols have been studied for cancer-inhibiting effects. Iron and folic acid help prevent anemia and support prostate health; calcium supports bone development; and its metabolism-boosting properties aid in overall health.
What Does Rojel Do To Ensure Quality?
Harvested only during flowering seasons using pollen collectors, at Rojel, our granules are lightly dried under 40 °C, and hand-sorted—free of fillers or preservatives.
Thanks to New Zealand’s remarkably clean air—free of fine dust and urban pollutants—our bee pollen stands out for its unmatched clarity and quality.
How Is Rojel's Bee Pollen Collected and Processed?
During peak pollen season, we install a pollen collector at the entrance of each hive. As the forager bees return with pollen—mixed with nectar and saliva and carried on their hind legs—they pass through fine stainless-steel rings sized just wide enough for the bee, but not the pollen. This causes the pollen to gently fall into a clean collection drawer below.
Harvested in the afternoon, the pollen is then air-dried at under 40°C in our certified RMP facility, carefully purified with air and sieving techniques, and finally hand-inspected to remove any remaining natural debris like flower petals or wax. The result: pure, potent, and respectfully gathered bee pollen—bottled at its best.
