Rojel produces bee venom directly at apiaries near North Auckland, New Zealand. We operate under the New Zealand government's certified Risk Management Programme (RMP) to ensure the production of 100% New Zealand-purified bee venom through the following processes.

Crude bee venom collected from venom collectors contains various impurities, making it unsuitable for direct use in pharmaceuticals, medicine, or cosmetics. To achieve a high-purity product, Rojel employs a state-of-the-art production process using negative pressure filtration, centrifugation, and freeze-drying technologies.

1. Collection: We collect crude bee venom using our in-house developed venom collectors installed in front of beehives.

2. Negative Pressure Filtration: Impurities such as dust, honey, bee pollen, and propolis are removed through a combination of filter papers and negative pressure filtering.

3. Centrifugation: The filtered venom is further purified by centrifugation, which removes heavier impurities such as heavy metals.

4. Micro Filtration: Residual microscopic impurities are removed to ensure that only the pure venom components remain.

5. Freeze-drying: Moisture is eliminated through freeze-drying, producing purified bee venom in powder form. The final product is bottled and immediately stored at temperatures below -20°C.
